It's been a couple years since I've played around with FL Studio and within the last month have created something I am pretty proud of. It's nothing special, but for me, it's quite the accomplishment. I'll post it below. I plan to make more uploads in the coming weeks. You might be asking yourself, who is this person showing up on my feed? Well, if we knew eachother from years ago, I used to be The Arsonist77, but changed my name to xxUltimaWeapon a while back.

When I bought the FL Studio 20 Producer package the whole point was to be able to record guitars into projects and save my work and all that fun stuff. I have been messing around with a bunch of plugins and have been trying to find a good guitar tone but I think I'm getting closer. I absolutely SUCK at this right now, so expect some low quality metal songs in the next few weeks, haha.

I've noodled around and just scratched the surface at recording metal guitars, but do have a few songs I've been playing over the last couple years that I want to record, so we'll see how they turn out. I'm going to take a swing at drumkit plugins and see if I can get anything decent sounding for free. If anyone has any tips on getting thick but clean sounding metal tones, like chugging and all that shit, let me know because I'm open to advice at this point!

So I'm back. It's been a couple years since I've posted anything or really engaged with NG but I finally ponied up and bought FL Studio and have been excited to start posting stuff again! I'm going to be working on learning how to mix/master my tracks and will be recording some metal tracks (with drums for once) that I have been developing for a while. I hope everyone has been well while I was away!

Hey there,

It has been a few months. I recently starting working as a realtor and have been extra busy learning the ropes and pretty much being a slave to my clients. I just downloaded the FL 12 Studio Demo a few days ago and wrote this tonight. Took me about 5 hours. I feel like this may be the cleanest track I have written yet! I have been jamming with a buddy of mine and we have been writing some stuff as well. Maybe I will upload some stuff after we've recorded and figured out what we are posting. I look forward to hearing what you guys think!
