[Death of a Prodigy]

I definitely felt the emotion in this. Kind of took me to a weird place, deep within my psyche where things lurked, dormant for years without being recognized... So yeah. Thanks for that. I needed it. Your orchestral pieces are always beautiful and amazingly put together. As I was writing this, the horns came in near then end and took me even deeper. You got some serious talent. Keep it up!

Right off the bat, that super intense percussion had me hooked. It feels like an 8-bit snare, haha. You really do that gypsy romani well. I feel like these would work really well in the next infectionator they make or some similar game. Really well done. Keep it up!

Haha I just realized I hadn't fanned you yet. I get fugging excited when I see your posts on the RRC, XD. I love the way you make famitracker sound dude. You've got a really nice style and I encourage you to keep posting its deliciousness.

[Beating The Stone]

That intro was pretty damn catchy. I was actually really impressed with how it built. A lot of channels were utilized really well. Really liked the 1:50 - 2:25 range. Sounded super ominous yet building. Definitely see what you can do about that piano though, bro. You use it so much, that you really need it to be as pleasant as possible. This song is repetitive, but not in a bad way. There's a lot of channel change ups that make the repetition fine. It's not often I make it through a 5+ minute song, so nice work.

This review is going to have two parts.

A: In regards to your comment on larrynachos review, it's totally fine to go with something that sounds good. That's how all my songs are. It's not a bad style to develop, because i'll tell you, I imagine planning a song would be much easier, but I feel more creative going from bar to bar not knowing what i'm going to come up with next. Makes it interesting and I'm usually pretty stoked about how things turn out when I just play it by ear as you described.

B: At first I was pretty stoked about where this was going. Had a simple but defined intro. When I realized that it was mostly just one or two channels, I was a little disappointed. Once the beeps came into play, I was pretty confused. Overall, i'd say really work on creative some distinct and catchy melodies and harmonies to go with your ideas. Even if you use a really minor scale, you can make anything sound epic if you do the right stuff with it.
